Insurance inspection for concrete stamping staining

One thing that is important to consider after a large storm is to have your concrete inspected for damage. My family has been in the construction industry for my entire life and I’m 47 years old my father’s been doing it for his entire life so I’ve been around it and had the opportunity to listen. To a lot of questions that customers ask and that value has added to my own life experience.

After a large storm you will see a number of people getting roof inspections and having reverse come out and look for possible damage on the roof. However the thing that is greatly underappreciated and equally unreported is the damage that’s done to concrete after a major storm.  A lot of work that we pick up during the storm season here in the San Antonio area for concrete stamping and staining comes from insurance companies taking care of their insured homeowners and business insured owners. You might ask yourself what could possibly go wrong with concrete in regards to a storm? It would be a fair question because concrete is notoriously very hard on purpose. But a majority of the problem that happens is a result of hail damage taking off the top coat of the concrete.

In many cases insurance companies will pay for that damage and give you the opportunity to replace or make whole the property by paying for a percentage of the repair. This is one of the most important things for me to emphasize to any homeowner that’s looking to get any concrete done. Get a free estimate from someone that knows what they’re doing and knows what to be looking for. In some cases while on an estimate I was able to locate damage that was applicable and appliable to a recent storm. By doing so I save the homeowners thousands of dollars.
